The nearby (2 km) Kin Kora Shopping Centre is just a few minutes’ drive, at the western end of Philip Street (see Google situation map). Here you find Coles, Kmart, Woolworths, Big W, many smaller shops, and medical services.

Within walking distance (500 m) is Sun Valley Sea Food, for take away and sit down meals, next to the Spar Express grocery store. Both are on the apartment side of Philip Street before the roundabout with Glenlyon Road.

For other nearby shops and restaurants, check out the modern neighbourhood shopping centre in Sun Valley Road, at the other end of Edlorowa Street. Turn right from Edlorowa Street into Sun Valley road and soon you will see the shopping centre/ restaurant complex with the large IGA store on your left.

The Royal Thai Restaurant has good reviews and is worth a try. Here you also find Craig’s Bakery, Eagle Boys Pizza, Sun Valley Juice and Coffee, Jham Bar Espresso and more.
